Yes Granola, Yes a Love Letter

Yes Granola, Yes a Love Letter

If you caught Meet the Makers: Sincerely Friends, Sincerely Sisters, you may remember Jo’s GWL story started with soil on her hands and a wooden spoon in her grip. The kitchen wasn’t just where meals came together– it’s where healing did, too– and feeding her people became her favorite way to say “I love you.”

Her granola has been a staple in this act of care. Over time, it became not just a recipe, but a slow-crafted love letter– tweaked gently over time, shaped by sweet notes from the folks closest to her heart. A sprinkle more of this, a little less of that– not because it wasn’t already good, but because love pays attention.

Granola with love story

Once, a seasoned cook in his own right, a dear friend of Jo’s (and the only person lucky enough to see the granola recipe and live to talk about it), returned a little deflated. He’d followed every instruction, trusted his instincts, and still... it just didn’t taste like Jo’s.

The recipe was right. His skills were real. But when he asked the question so many have asked before– How did you do it?

Jo smiled… “It takes love.”

Love, Low and Slow

It starts like all good things: slow, careful, and full of feeling. There’s a kind of love that can’t be rushed. The kind that shows up in quiet details.

Love’s an ingredient, and the main event. Every scoop, every stir, every layer carries a little bit of heart and a lot of intention.

We choose the best ingredients, staying as close to home as possible, always honest, always grown or made with intention. Every partner, every product, brings a little patience here, a little know-how there, a whole lot of care throughout.

There’s no one detail we can point to, no single reason our granola tastes different. It’s kind of like a welcomed memory, soft around the edges, but full of feeling. Familiar yet you can’t quite name it.

And the beautiful part? As more hands join in, the love keeps growing. Everyone adds something to it– their own spark, their own style, their own understanding of “why this matters.”

And still, our mission is simple: spreading love with granola.
